Lisa - I think the class was great. Even though I haven’t taken my final test, I know that it helped me dramatically. I felt strong when I had to get on my bike the first part of April. I liked the structured workout. I also thought it was helpful that you sent us the workouts early in case we weren't able to make it to class for whatever reason.

Sarah - I would definitely sign up for another PowerBike class. I'm not racing but I do like the additional strength and faster recovery!

Jon - I loved the class. As a road racer who wants to continually improve, it’s exactly the sort of structured off-season training program I need.  I really like the intensity and duration of each class session.

Diana - I really liked the PowerBike classes.  I have been doing spin classes for many years (10??) and having power figures to work from, really livened up the class for me.  It made me work harder than I normally would have.  Some of the workouts were rather boring but quite honestly; I don’t know how you avoid this.  Intervals are a necessity when training seriously.  I could see how the average person just looking for a calorie burn might not enjoy the class (too hard…too boring…etc.).  But for the more serious cyclists, it is awesome!!  I really don’t know what you could change to improve the class.  I need very upbeat music to motivate me to work hard.  Everyone’s taste in music is different but as long as it is up-tempo, it works for me.  With that being said, I really enjoyed your music too.  I like that you introduced new songs and took suggestions from participants (80’s Big Hair Bands J).

Laura -  I truly enjoyed Power Bike.  It was extremely beneficial to me as a road cyclists that competes at the CAT 4 level. Really there isn't anything I would change besides the length. I liked how it was very well organized and our workouts were given a couple of days before the class so we knew what to expect.

Levon - The workouts were well designed and you explained them very clearly.  The buildup from longer intervals to shorter intervals was good.  Some days it felt like there were too many intervals.  By the last set it was too difficult to sustain power.  The class after Easter break was the hardest.  It was pretty hard to recover after class, because I was pretty drained.  Overall I thought it was a great class!
